The DeCAIR project meeting the University of Jordan’s President

​Thursday 28/4/2022: The DeCAIR project met the University of Jordan’s President (Prof. Nathir Obeidat), Vice President for Scientific Schools (Prof. Inaam Khalaf), Dean of the School of Engineering (Prof. Naser Al-Huniti​​), Deputy Dean of the School of Engineering for Academic Affairs (Prof. Bashar Tarawneh), Chair of the Computer Engineering Department (Dr. Mohammad Abdel-Majeed), and Chair of the Mechatronics Engineering Department (Dr. Osama Al-Habahbeh).

Prof. Gheith Abandah started by giving an overview of the DeCAIR project, its objectives, main results, and status. The meeting included a thorough discussion about the project challenges by the entire meeting participants. The President emphasized the importance of this project for the University of Jordan and assured that the university gives it its full support. The President also suggested ideas to increase the project’s impact in the University of Jordan.
