During the DeCAIR team visit to the University of Granada, the team was invited to visit the Center for Research in Information and Communication Technologies of the University of Granada ( CITIC- UGR ). The center is a leading research facility where researchers tackle relevant scientific-technological challenges; transfer knowledge to the industrial sector, and train researchers who are engines of socio-economic growth around new technologies. The center is directly connected to incubators and the local industry.

During the visit, Mr. Germán González invited the team to see the advanced computer and server clusters where most AI and machine learning research is conducted, offering explanation about their capacity, technical specifications, and the type of research conducted using these servers.
