The University of Granada hosted the DeCAIR Team at the garden of the Carmen de la Victoria. The gardens are owned and managed by the University of Granada and they are situated on a hill overlooking the Al-Hambra Palace Complex. The soiree was organized by Prof. Jorge Casillas where the DeCAIR team members met their peers and workshop instructors. During this social event, attendees got to know more about the research they conduct, and exchanged info about Spain, Jordan, Lebanon, the similarities and differences between their cultures, customs, and history.

Also, Prof. Jorge Casillas organized a one-day guided tour and visit to the Al-Hambra Palace complex for the DeCAIR team visiting Granada and some UGR faculty members.
