Advanced Kinematics and Control of Wheeled Mobile Robots Course
October 27th, 2023 - As part of its capacity building activities, the DeCAIR project carried out a 2-day training course in Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) from 25 to 26 October 2023. This course was hosted by JUST and organized by the University of Stuttgart. The participants included 24 participants including 7 remote participants from the partner Jordanian and Lebanese universities.
This training course is titled “Advanced Kinematics and Control of Wheeled Mobile Robots” and
covered theoretical and practical aspects of the following topics:
Different Types of Wheeled Mobile Robots
Kinematics of the Robots (High-Level and In-Depth Considerations)
Control of the Mobile Robots (Setpoint and Trajectory Tracking)
Building a Cost-Efficient Mobile Robot In-House
The course was led by Mario Rosenfelder from the University of Stuttgart.
